About MIHIA
MiHIA is a formal community collaboration designated to build a health care system where consumers, providers and payers make decisions based on the value and quality of care. It serves a population of nearly 800,000 in a 14-county geographic area in central Michigan. Created in 2007, MiHIA began operations as an independent legal entity in July of 2011.
MiHIA's strategy is to serve as the regional hub for sharing health information and for collaboration among multiple stakeholders, including patients and their families.
