Governance

The affairs and business of the Corporation shall be managed by a Board of Directors who shall be selected, or elected, as provided herein. The number of Directors shall be within the range of 15-21 Board members. The Board shall have the control and management oversight of the affairs and business of the Corporation.  The Board shall assure progress and achievement of the mission, shall assure effective oversight of the executive director/ CEO or any other staff, contracts, budget and operations of the organization.  The Board may adopt rules and regulations for the conduct of their meetings and the management of the Corporation as they may deem proper, consistent with these Bylaws and the Laws of the State of Michigan.

An Operations Team provides functional support for day-to-day needs of the organization. The MiHIA CEO directs the Operations Team activities and resources. The team is comprised of Communications team leader, project manager, and website and dashboard team leaders.
